Mommas' will be coming up in the next week; last years colts are getting ready to be seperated from the fillies and form a new bachelor band; 2 year old fillies are going out with the Wild Bunch and six 3 year olds to get going under saddle! Busy busy busy!
We have our Open House coming up April 11 and some great shows this year to show off our horses...

We've finally had a nice stint of rain, so we are set up for a month or so of good grass!
Colts got seperated from the fillies yesterday. They will be up in the barn for a week or two, getting some training and then out to their own pasture to romp and be boys! The fillies are happy about it - nice and quiet at feeding time now...
We brought up the three year old fillies yesterday also. They are excited to be up at the barn and enjoying the attention. They will go into a pasture close by to the barn so they can get started under saddle. Will get some picts after everyone had a beauty day.
Broodmares will be moved up to the barn area in the next few days...!! We are getting antsy about those babies coming soon!
Other things going on: Desi has been sold and will be gelded this week. He will stay on for awhile here in training, but he has a great new family that love and adore him. Nino and Rico are set to go under the knife in the next couple weeks also. Nino will be turned back out with the older boys, as he is only two, but Rico will begin his training soon.
