Yes, Chilli is back....she is bred to JP's Lusitano Stallion, Lusiadas: Chilli is HUGE!! Wait until I put picts up this weekend - holy cow! Though she is due May 4, Chilli likes to be two weeks early and she has held pretty close to that time...so we are expecting that gorgeous foal around April 20th.

Okay, Chilli has thick milk and her levels are on to foal. This afternoon she had wax and tonight she has milk on her legs. Her milk was white, but I think it could be a little thicker. Maybe a few days - I hope she can hold out a little longer....

Not to be outdone by Momma....Chilli proceeded to foal exactly 12 hours later in the middle of the afternoon - 10 minutes before the start of the Open House! Her colt is 3 weeks early. Everything seems fine, though his legs need time to adjust to life outside! He is half Lusitano and seems as if he will be a big boy. Hard to tell much about him, as he sleeps alot because he is so early.
